Delete your Ancient Remedies account
You can delete your Ancient Remedies account and the personal data attached to it at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
How To Request Deletion
There are two ways:

In The App
Open Profile, then Settings, then Delete Account, and confirm when asked. This is the fastest route and takes effect straight away.

By Email
Write to help@ancientremedies.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it.
If you write from a different address, we may ask you for a little information to confirm the account is yours, so that nobody else can delete it.
Cancel Your Subscription First
If you have a paid subscription, cancel it before you delete your account. Deleting your account does not cancel the subscription, and Google will keep billing you.

To Cancel On Android:
Open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select Ancient Remedies and cancel it.

To Cancel On iOS:
Open your iPhone Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Select Ancient Remedies and cancel it.
What We Delete
When your account is deleted, we remove:
- Your account and sign-in details.
- Your profile, including your name, address and profile photo.
- Your wellness preferences and the answers you gave when you set up the app.
- Your remedy plans and daily remedies.
- Recipes you bookmarked, and the ones you marked as made.
- Your RemedAI conversation history.
- Any feedback you gave on recipes or plans.
- Your rewards, streaks, activity history and referrals.
- Your community posts, comments and likes, and any webinar registrations.
- our notification preferences, and the record of notifications we sent you.
- The device token we use to send push notifications to your phone.

What We Keep, And Why
We keep records of purchases and subscription payments for seven years, because tax and accounting law requires us to.
These records are stored separately from your account and are not used to identify you as a user of the app.
If you bought e-books from our online store, please note that your store account is separate from your app account. Deleting your app account does not remove your store customer record.

How Long It Takes
Deletions you request in the app take effect immediately. Requests sent by email are completed within 30 days.
Copies held in our backups are removed as those backups rotate, within 30 days of deletion.
